That's a bangup job on the paint. I don't really care for the bars, but what ever melts your wax I guess. Don't the bars hit the tank?
Anyways, it looks alot better than it did from the factory.

nope...the bars clear the tank without issue. I just need to make a decision on the gauges now. I'd love to go smaller. Anyone need a stock gauge cluster? ;)

Looking Good.....Liking the paint scheme !!! Might I suggest smoothing your seat before putting the vinyl to it though. Keep up the good work !

Wow, I can't tell you how nice your project is looking. I was curious how you did the paint detailing. In specific, the Yamaha symbols on the side caps and the striping on the rest of the pieces. I am buying a seca exactly like yours and look forward to doing a similar project. Also, get some more pics up for us, we're anxious to see the progress!

    Thanks,

you mean, like the pics in the other thread for this bike? :) Look down a couple threads...it's there.

And the striping on the tank is 3m professional stuff, the side panels are computer cut vinyl decals. I'm way too lazy to paint the stripes. Plus, I may want to change color schemes at some point.
