What kind of oil do you use in your rear diff?

    Sunoco Ultra Gear Oil -- GL5 80W/90 or 85~140

    Not sure about 75, but whatever you get, make sure it's GL-4 spec, and definitely needs to be rated for hypoid gears.

    GL5 has additives in it that attacks yellow metal like bronze and as far as i'm aware the final drive has bronze in it.

    I was told the same thing; the same person said, however, that the final drive in the Maxim-X doesn't have those metals, therefore it should be fine. (Just an FYI. Can't speak for other models.)

    Personally, what I'm using in both bikes is "Lucas High Performance Heavy Duty 80/90 Plus Gear Oil".
