We got going from Saint Paul around 7:50 AM . In attendance was PainterD . We met up with EdinaDad & his daughter on the way down to Lake City MN. The weather was great. It was such a nice day today there were many bikes out on the road.
Our 150 Mile Trek was uninterrupted unitil Edina Dad's Side cover decided to come off. So alittle back track and we found it all in one piece. A zip tie later and we were on the road again. We stopped at the next town for brunch and talked about our bikes and what deals on other bikes we had seen. It was great to meet up with other members and put faces to our handles here on the forum.
Then it was Time to get back and time to part ways. PainterD headed north to St. Cloud, EdinaDad and I rode west and Split up at the Saint Paul Exit. I rode north to my palce & Edina dad and daughter rode west to Edina.

Maybe we could do this again soon. I would also like to invite other members in the area to contact us and see if we can get another ride togeather. Thanks It was alot of fun

The guys were very patient with me. I decided to do a little surgery on my bike this morning and put a new headlight bucket and lamp from an a different model Yamerhammer. It worked out ok, but, it is still not quite right.

I haven't ridden with other people before but I will be doing more of it.

It is such a nice ride around Lake Pepin.

I think I got around 50 mpg, even riding two up. My daughter had a blast.

We saw so many bikes out riding today. And there must have been a convention of trikes. too many to count.

Thanks Ron and Dave for waiting and riding with me!!

It was a great ride today for sure!
I had a blast and will be looking forward to riding with you guys again soon.
Rons side cover is just one of those things that happen and it wasn't no big deal. I'm just happy to have notice it blow off in the ditch and even happier that you found it!!
We'll plan another ride soon and maybe have more members join us. It was nice meeting and riding with both of you (Ron and Dan) and we'll see you on another ride I'm sure! >PD<

By the sound of it I went on the same ride the same day. The Normandale College Motorcycle Club met in Lakeville and then rode out to hastings and crossed over to Prescott. We rode the Wisconsin boarder to Nelson and came back over to the Minnesota side. Up through Redwing and back to hastings and Lakeville.

It was a great ride for us as well, and I have never seen so many motorcycles out and about. If you guys rode the other way around lake Pepin I probably waved to you and never knew.

Give me a heads up on the next ride and I'll do my best to be there. I would love to have a few friendly faces in the area in case I muck something up on my bike.
