Thanks for the suggesting Robert, I was thinking about doing that too...

one2dmax, PM me with your email so that I can send you a pic of what I was thinking on doing/getting cut out. I would say that the part is flat, but also thick.

Is it a handlebar mount for shooting the tires off of blind and stupid cage drivers?

Nope, but that would be a awesome idea! lol

I guess it would not hurt to tell ya.

Based on my research, and whats already 'out there' I came up with a design for a piece that you would be able to add to your existing triple tree in order to give us some more rake. Nothing extreme, but would make the people that make bobbers and custom rides really happy. And one of the coolest features is that it is designed so that you would not have to extend your forks - or at least what I have drawn should eliminate this need. It should also be a universal fit given that the original forks are the same length, bike is the same height and steering stem is the same length and diameter as the reference design.

Basically it's 2 metal parts - steel or aluminum, and one round piece of the same material - 3 pieces total.

Don't call me crazy, I am just that good

However, if you are trying to rake a bike by changing the triples or an addition to the triple you are asking for trouble. The only safe way to rake a bike is to cut and re-weld the steering head (using a frame jig). If you rake a bike in the triple you screw up the "trail" and end up with a very unsteady chassis.

If memory serves me right i think we can cut up to 1/2" steel and 1/4" aluminum.
