Ive been reading around on this site for a while but didn't find exactly what i was looking for. On my 650maxim the front brakes didnt seem to be grabing that great so i cleaned the pads and checked the fluid but everything is good, pads have plenty of life and the rotor is fine.
I read about ss lines but cannot find them for my bike, has anyone done a dual front disk swap on theres? What do i all need to swap or fix my stock brakes?I might need to fix it before i get it inspected.

    Spongy handle is it ?

I rebuilt the Master Cylinder on my 650G and that fixed the problem. Stops good with single caliper.

Mine isnt spongy either, and dont grab all that great, but my biggest problem i think is fork seal oil getting on the rotors.

    $20-30.
You need to hone out the master cylinder before you install it.
You will need a set of snap ring pliers also.

Fork oil doesn't do those rotors or pads any good at all. Need to replace those seals ASAP !

Yes, they can but for $10 for a hone (that you will probably use again later or loan to a neighbor) why not spring for the tool and do it yourself?
The shop will charge you at least a half an hour of time ($35 or so in this neck of the woods).
