    I have an old XJ 600 , just failed the mot on fork seals and head bearings so have this ahead of me . New to this so the manual out alot at the moment.

    I'm sorry, am I too late to welcome you aboard Paul? I've been mulling over your original post and finally figured out what you were referring to concerning a "MOT" inspection. Easy fix, you'll be back and get your tags without too much trouble. Glad to have you aboard once again.
