Is there an easier way to put the boots back on the carbs(air box side)after you have reinstalled the carb rack on the intake manifolds?

I tear my hands apart trying to get them back on....

I always put both carb joints and carb side boots on before i pput the carbs back in..easier to get the manifold side in then push the carbs into the airbox ones for me...are you loosening the bolt that lets the airbox slide forward and backward too?

I struggled with my other X last year.
I was working on X#2 and the boots were pretty hard so I bought new ones.

OH MY GOD!!! nice new supple rubber is SO much easier.
    Awesome investment of $32
I put my rack back on in 15 minutes with no back ache
