Not that it is much of a issue, is there a way to adjust the speedometer? Mine is off by about 5mph when I am traveling 50mph. I have been able to adjust my driving but it would be nice to have a better idea at how fast I am really traveling.

I've not seen how to adjust it correctly and I've torn apart one unit. Of course that does not make me an expert but I would think I would have seen the adjustment method while I destroyed it. I don't think it is a simple matter so I would suggest contacting a speedo shop. And that will cost. I've called three of the recommended speedo shops here in California and they all said they won't touch Japanese speedos anymore. With parts no longer available, small wonder why.

there is NO way to recalibrate a Spedo.. Unless.. one has purpose designed and Accurate Spiral springs to reinstall.
    Improbable and highly unlikely.
Most speedos are intentionally designed to be optimistic.
