    Hi there,

Last week i noticed a wet righthand swingarm.

I think my rear shock is leaking.

Can this be revised like the front fork with new oil seals and dust covers or is it in need of replacement?

any shock absorber can be rebuilt. the quality depends on who you get to do the job. that is if you want to keep it original otherwise look for some good used shocks or if that doesn't sit well with you, you can always go aftermarket

Stock shock units are welded units. They, under ordinary circumstances, are non-rebuildable. Now if you really want those old units, for a small fortune, you can find someone to rebuild them but the cost would be quite high. I'd imagine the cost would be close to the the cost of new aftermarket shocks that would probably be much better than stock.

Rebuild those forks straight away! Leaking fork oil has ruin a few brake systems, don't let it happen to you!
