    I have a 1982 XJ650j stock

I bough the bike about a month ago and replaced tires, breaks, changed all oils, re-greased everything I can.

The problem is when I get the bike above 60 mph I get a vibration/ almost like a buzz under the seat

How do I go about finding out what is wrong?

Lan Man I have the same vibration on my bike at 5k rpm about 60 I think it the harmonics if the engine because it goes away above and below that speed

The nature of the beast. My 82 650 max does it between 5200 and 5500. Right at 65 mph. Annoys the crap out of me but thats the beast. I fine myself going 60 mph or 70 mph rarely in between.

    Yup.

Same thing here. Really smooth below 61 mph, then buzzy up to 67 mph, then smooths out again. My first brand new 1981 XJ650 was exactly like that.

I am very new to motorcycle.
    This is my first bike.
I just got my license about 2 weeks ago after taking the Motorcycle safety.
No riding experience before the class, except a few day running around my friends yard

The fasted I have gone on the bike is 60mph.

    Thanks for you replies.

I will take the bike faster and see what happens

    Thanks
