Hi guys, I was cleaning up some parts and found the original fender from my bike, do you think it would look better with the original fender on it with the original brake lights, and the chrome fender in the front? Or should I just leave it as is be? I would also have to loose the saddle bags if I put the original fender on...

    Any other suggestion welcome.

I like the one you have on it already. Looking at that i would weld some side pieces to it. and maybe flare it out like a old school. that's just my opinion.

I got a "rusty rivets" saddlebag also. What's an easy fix?
A bunch of tiny stainless carriage bolts?
    sanding and painting sounds sloppy.

Your bigger problem is filling the gaps between the tank/seat, and the side cover, to make a cleaner look.
The stock fender no longer "works". If you want chrome, get a big chrome fender, and stuff it in there.

Yes, I want to add those pieces to the sides, I think it will look much better and more 'beefy'.

I hear ya about the tank, I want to fiberglass some parts in the summer to make it look cleaner.

I don't think my bike would look good wearing nothing...

You think throwing a Honda shadow fender on there would be ok?

I like the one you have already. What seat do you have? Looks like it fits perfect.

It looks good the way it
Or you could do somethimg like what I did and us a Harley fender
The only that that I should have done was used a hinged fender to make removal of the tire easyer
I may just do thet yet now that I think about it

    Thanks guys.

Ok, this is what I did to make it 'flow' from the tank to the seat, I think it looks much better, even though my body work skill are not the greatest lol. I still have yet to make a piece that goes over top the bolt on the tank.

Let me know what you think...

Also, hopefully this weekend I can add skirts onto my fender. yamason, that was what I was looking for, but I could not find on in my budget :(. Your seat looks much better then mine, more comfortable.

I also need some rear shocks...

btw, look at a pic of my front tire. Some of the rubber is starting to crack, and in almost all of the grooves. It has not passed the wear line, still about a 1/8" left. I also have some corners of the tread that I am able to 'lift up'. Is it safe to drive with this?

Anthony14 I was lucky on the finder e-bay for around $45.00 shiped to my door. The seat is a 86 Harley sportster stock seat. I cut my stock seat pan down for the front half of it that way it would hook under the gas tank
