Has anyone tried to put inverted froks on an XJ? I have a 81 SECA 750 and was thinking about putting inverted forks, round headlight and change out the brakes. Someone told me that older gsxr forks would go right in?

Not sure what you will need. We have swapped Vmax, FZR 600, and Fazer/FZX forks back and forth with no real issues. We have installed R1 inverteds on a Vmax by removing the steering stem from the Vmax triple and installing it into the R1 lower. We then made a custom top triple but could have potentially used the clip-ons and stock R1 triple.

this guy used forks & triples from an '04 Kawi ZX-6 and swapped the steering stem onto the ZX-6 triples. This is on a XS650 - but it just shows anything is possible. It's just mocked up in this pic - but it looks awesome. I'm planning on doing it to my 650 if I ever get time for my project.
