I have an 83 xj750 and the original owner. I was googling fairings and saw this site. I was wondering if a fairing either wrap around or front was made for this bike? I'm also looking for the right side cover (battery side) mine was smashed and I want to replace it. I've looked everywhere and can't find one.

Welcome to the XJ site. You will find more information here than you probably ever wanted to know. Its all good too.

There is a few different factory fairings that are available for the XJ 750.
The biggest issue will be if your bikes frame has the required mounting points to attach one.
I had to modify my frame by adding a mounting tab to mount a Yamaha fairing. It was a lot of work but the end result was what I wanted.

There are plenty of after-market fairings available too. Do a search of this site for "fairing" and see what comes up.

The hard part is locating a fairing. They come up from time to time on Ebay.
That is a good place to look for the side cover too.

    Peter.

    Welcome Jag3,
You will most likely get a better response if you post your requests for parts on our For Sale, Wanted forum.
The Seca 750s are a fine machine, I enjoy the heck out of mine.
    Happy hunting.

Is that a Maxim or a Seca you have there, Jag?

Also, what's your location? Fairings are pretty bulky and heavy making them costly to ship.

I have an 83 XJ750 Maxim and live just outside of Philadelphia, PA, sorry I didn't specify that in my first post.
Regarding the side cover, I've tried ebay and dozens of yards but nothing, from time to time I see the left side but never the right.
