Solid Struts

    I was just curious what material would be best suied for a solid strut? I know they aren't the coolest or best idea, but it will do until i get the hard tail welded up.

    hi,i made a pair out of 1 1/4" round mild steel.you wont bend that.

    Thanks for the help but, what did you do for the eye lets for the bolts to go in/through?

    i used 1 inch square tubing. Just drilled it out. thats all i did

    hi,i just drilled it out,clamp it on a piece of angle iron to drill,that way it wont twist when your drilling and the holes will be on centre.i then just cut 2 shoulders on either side of the holes.

    I used a pipe notcher and made eyelets.
