Looks sick, but the price is crazy!

Would love to just paint my whole engine like that...

Yeah the price is very steep, but it costs quite a bit to have something professionally chromed as well. It looks like the final step is a one time use can of hardener/topcoat. So once you depress the plunger to mix the final can you probably have a limited amount of time to use the product. Looks awesome, but certainly doesn't seem practical if you only have a small piece to refinish.

I've got access to some of the chromeFX stuff but haven't tried it yet. Might have to give it a shot on some of the plastic parts I have laying around. I do regular chrome and black chrome (nickel) and it's hard to match the sheer luster and reflectivity of the real stuff.

    They sent me a sample.

I don't think you would be impressed and you would be bummed about the expense.
I tried the "killer cans" on my restore project. ....JUST BAD.
I might have got a bad can, but I was highly dissapointed with my $80 worth of paint (two cans) that went on worse than the $6 Duplicolor cans from Autozone.

    My opinion...Don't waste your money.
The "professional" equipment does a much better job. They sent me a contact for a company that has the pro-spraying chrome equipment.

    That would be my recommendation.
