handlebar question

    a friend let me take his bike out for a ride and he had 12 inch ape hangers on his bike. i truly enjoyed the ride with those and i was wondering if any one has added these type of bars to there bike, i think i would get some somewhat smaller bars but i realy liked them. anywho any advice or pics would help thanks.

    They are gonna be hard to find my suggestion would be to just get some strait bar and have it bent to the size you like. thats what i am doin right now cause i dont like the bars that are on it,

    I wanted 12" apes but couldn't find a pair right away, so I got a pair of mini-apes and added 4" risers instead to get the height I wanted. They are very comfortable. My hands ended up even with my shoulders, which was right where I wanted them.
    Once your hands are anywhere above your shoulders, you lose curculation in your hands and arms after a while.

    ok, I've got an original set of '82 buckwheat or whatever they're called handlebars. the pull back kind. you want 'em, you got 'em. free. I hate them, and installed clubman type bars.
