I bought a Uni Foam Air Filter from chacal, which I am greatly impressed and happy with thanks chacal. I know that you have to soak or spray with oil. On the uni filter instructions it says to us, 8O of course  , Uni foam oil. I was wondering if anyone knew of something else I could use. There web site just said not to use motor oil cause it can damage the engine. Please let me know what you guys think. Thanks. :D

WOW! And to think I've been deliberately putting motor oil in my engine. 3 quarts at a time! I better go take it out.....

Don't use Motor Oil because its too thick to allow air to pass through the filter.
I doubt having oil sucked into the engine would do any harm.

One of the best products for oiling a air filter is Marvel Mystery Oil.
You can spray that stuff directly into a running engine and it's good for it!

    Top cylinder lube.
    Can't hurt you.

I always use 3 in 1 oil. It is nice and thin. Never had any problems with it and it is easy to get.
