I remember searching a couple of years ago for a Seca forum and couldn't find anything. I thought us XJ guys were just orphans or something... 8O :D

Now, I am getting the old girlfriend running again after 2 years, and I find this place! Excellent.

I have owned my XJ750 Seca since she was new. She has had a lot of modifications over the years and still looks darn good considering she is 27 years old.

I do know the ins and outs of the bike though. I have lots of spare parts stored away too, just in case, because parts are getting harder and harder to find to keep the old girl running...

    Cheers to all here!

    Mike

    Welcome desertdog!
Good to see another XJ in the area.
We should be having a carb clinic coming up soon and we'd love to see you there.
It's usually in the Richardson/Irving area so you'd be close by.
    Happy crusing until then. :)

Sorry, I don't have any pics of her when she was new.

This one was taken about 3 months ago. She was not running in this picture:

Is that a MAC 4-1 and Pods? What jetting are you using? I assume you are close to sea level in TX?

    You paint the rims yourself?

That is all the questions for now... ;)

No that is a old Kerker Comp header with a street baffle, and no name pod filters. I painted the rims myself a long time ago with some industrial enamel, and it is just now starting to show signs of wear.

I am not sure what jetting is in the Keihin 31's since the last time it ran it lived at 5200' above sea level when I lived in Albuquerque, and I dont remember back that far. I will let you know on Wednesday, because the carbs are coming apart to be cleaned and the stock main jets put back in...
