    anyone have one?
    ridden one?

theres a 250 in my town for sale and im thinkin about picking it up
im not a beginning rider but 250s have always been fun

    are they dependable?
worth looking at just for something to tool around on?

in september i will be purchasing a new bike of the streetbike genre
but the motorcycle bug has bitten me and i dont know if i should pass this bike up and maybe sell it down the road to a new rider

During the last Minneapolis Motorcycle Show my daughter and I looked at the bikes offered by Hyosung. They look pretty well built (I believe the GT250 and GT650 share the same frame as the older Suzuki GS500's). Looks like a nice, simple motorcycle.

I have nothing nice to say about Hyosung bikes.

Remember when Hyundia first came out? Same thing. The problem is that they're not yet building the quality that is required. Wait a couple of years.

Types of problems? Weld quality... have a look yourself.

I have a dealer here who used to be a Suzuki dealer. He sells the Hyosung bikes. They actually have a good warranty and have mostly Suzuki parts. That said, I'm not buying one, but he sells a lot. They seem ok to me.
