    Have you been told that the starter on Virago's sound like they have come loose, and are banging around inside the transmission?

    And it's a low output cruiser, not an exciting sportbike. Otherwise, the price is about average.

    Hmmm.. not lookin for a speed demon - just something to ride while i fixing up my xj750 seca ;-)

    was thinking about offering 800 and see what they say......

    I had one just like it back in the day and I thought it was a very nice bike. The starters can be tempermental. there was a shim kit to put in them to keep them from cutting out too soon before the engine would start up. check if that had been done. Or try to start it a few times and see what you think.
