    Also called an anti-tamper cap, it's pressed into the idle mixture screw bore hole after the screw is fitted. It seals the hole against the elements and also makes it very difficult to get at to the idle mixture screw in the future, as it has to be drilled out to remove. I do not recommend installing it!

    It actually works well if you can get some plastic cap plugs and put them in place of the stock ones. Keeps it clean and helps prevent frozen mixture screws.

    Plastic plugs work very well. I put some grease in the hole before I put the plugs in , this prevents water from getting in the screws and freezing them up. You can get the plugs at any hardware store.

    I'd suggest some type of plug after having one of my screws back out on it's own.
    Luckily, a coworker found it, but the spring was long gone.
    At the moment, mine are capped with modeling clay
