You can ride without the front fender. Some bikes actually look meaner without one

It looks good, but I'd recommend a fork brace. Your front fender does provide structural support.

I rode without one for a while and liked the look, but hated the rocks and dirt that hit me in the face / eyes when my shield was up... I made a fork brace and smaller fender but eventually went back to the stock fender.
Which I think looks pretty good.

I dont run with a front fender... Its like: "I find myself feelin' more 1 with the road Without 1.." When I get all that rain n gravel kicked up into my face! It lets me know "I need 2 be the SMARTER rider/driver on the road.." Thats just me...

Ease...... Is there a place that sales fork braces or should i just make my own? And if so what would be an easy way to do so.

    Thanks

the punishment your engine and exhaust will take without a front fender isnt worth it to me.It is a cool look without one though.

No, you probably don't have to, but speaking from the perspective of a long-distance road bicyclist, you might want to leave your fender on.

I've been on rainy bicycle rides that've made me wonder if I wasn't going to drown in the spray off my own front tire. Bad enough on the flats, and much worse going down a mountain! Do it with mountain bike slicks and you'll wish you'd brought along nose plugs and a snorkel. I just don't think I'd want to even try it with something the size of a motorcycle tire.

    Regards,
    Annie

Front fenders are for your protection in my opinion. Tiny rocks can stick in the tread and be flung out. Not to mention all the other raod crud. But as for laws I don;t think it's a legal issue.
