Hey folks, the bike is nearly road worthy, and while I'll buy a bit of time on the tires that are on the thing, I won't want to ride them for long (awfully worn). Now, I am not interested in widening the tire, and I plan on sticking with 130-90-16 for the rear and 100-90-16 for the front. I know that the sizes vary from brand to brand... Somewhere I read that HD branded Dunlop tires have a higher profile, and at 6'5", I could use a little help. I'm sure it's not greatly significant, if there is a change, but I wanted to check with the forum whilst making a decision. Again, I appreciate it!

The tyres width and profile are there to see. As I am sure you are aware, the second figure is the profile of the tyre expressed as a percentage of the width. So if you're sticking with a 130-90-16 for the rear then they will all be the same - in theory.

Sounds to me like you need a Seca instead...

    Doesn't it just?

I've run Dunlop K491 Elite IIs for a long time and love them. They offer a slightly taller profile (but they are a little narrower) and last a very long time.
