That's why they invented ball caps. My cap sits up under the fairing on the Seca and keeps me looking presentable

Ranger G- +1 on the hat. I keep a cap in my fairing storage compartment along with a fancy hair brush for my "better half". She refuses to wear a hat.

I just deal with the helmet hair. Ride to work and try to comb thru before going to court or going into meetings. My hair is relatively short, but happy to still have any. I drop the wife off at work most days - she takes hair products and brushes and change of clothes at times. Trying to set a good example, as my son rides and does not wear a brain bucket. He is 19 and knows more than dad. Has stupid idea that helmet would keep alive and brain damaged. Would rather be dead than brain damaged.

I took a dive at 30 km/h on my safety course, practicing quick/emergency stops in corners (now THAT is a tricky maneouvre). Was wearing a (brand new - ouch) full face helmet - my CHINBAR was the first thing to hit, b/c I went over the high side head first. Without the full face (even with a three quarter) I wouldn't have been dead or brain-damaged, just looking for a plastic surgeon to repair my chin, lips, reattach my nose, and a good dental surgeon to replace my teeth. FULL FACE ALL THE WAY! And helmet hair be damned...when I arrive at work, I do my hair there, anywhere else I'm carrying my helmet and wearing my jacket and the helmet hair is self-explanatory.

Besides, I think most cagers are envious of the bike, not derisive of the helmet hair...
