this is the problem: no lights. no main lights (front and rear lights), no high beam, no high beam spy nor tacho and speedo lights.
the stop light, blinkers and all other panel lights works fine.
    the fuses are all ok.
    where is the problem?

Typically, the Fuse Block would be to blame but I understand you replaced your fuse block so you are limited to chasing the wires from the lights to the source, eliminating one circuit branch at a time.

You will probably find as I did on mine that there is a multi-block connector under the tank which does the power from the fuse to all of these lights. I would start by arming yourself with a wiing diagram and a multimeter and checking for continuity. If you don't have a wiring diagram or multimeter then I would get them.

Resolved (-50 euros). The problem was the fuses box.
it is burned in a hidden point, but the fuses not. very strange.

Hello everyone. This is my first post. I am the proud owner of a 1981 XJ650LH Midnight Maxim. I just got it out of the shop after a five month nightmare with a mechanic who should never have started on this bike. All the problems he has created are now fixed except for the headlight. The mechanic broke one of the clips for the headlight fuse and decided to just bypass the fuse and take the wire straight to the headlight. That actually worked for a few hours, then the headlight went out. The bulb passes inspection but still will not work. I am going to try to post a picture of the fuse box.

Replace it with blade fuse holder - very easy to do and cheap. Search the forums there are great pictures of some installs.
