I work for a plasics thermoforming company and all of our machinery relies on pneumatic pressure and vacuum.

I have many types of vacuum gauges at my disposal and tubing, fittings, and other items that would be needed to fashion a vacuum gauge for synching carbs.

My question is, what is the range of vacuum that I would be measuring?
I want to use gauges that will be sensitive enough but not ones that will max out and not be able to give me a true reading, if that makes sense to anyone.

I also understand from reading several posts that I will need to install some type of flow control/metering device inline with each gauge to control fluctuation. Correct?

Thanks for any help on this.

I would assume that it depends on what RPM level you are at when testing. I believe that mine was pulling ~18lbs at 1500RPM. I can check my guage and let you know what it goes up to if you want.
