Side stand relay

    Does anyone know if there is another realy that can be used to match the side stand relay that you can pick up from Canadian Tire or other auo parts store?

    When mine went out, i put it on the grinder and cut the little plastic ridge where the two pieces of plastic are glued together. pulled them apart, and saw a pile of rust powder under the contact arm. I blew it out, pushed the plastic cover back on and some epoxy and i was back in business. Of course your coil may be bad, but all i'm saying is dont throw it away without checking it out. DONT bypass it, that could be dangerous.

    i bypassed mine. never had a switch on any of my other bikes. first thing i do when i sit on the bike. just make it a habit.
