    You can also source a new one from Chacal, our forum parts guru. Cheap and reliable.

    Except the fella doesn't respond when you call on him (at least by my experience). I just assumed he was too busy like everyone else and to be patient. But then I see he posted on here several times and several days afterwards.

    Was interested in the spin-on oil filter he sells and had some questions. But no response. Guess the Yamaha stock filters are good 'nuff.

    Did you contact him at his email info@xj4ever.com? I can call him and find out what is going on if you still need to get in touch. He is very swift in replying to my questions.
    And yes, the stock filters are good stuff but a bit pricey.
