    Hi guys.

When my bike is at normal operating temp and idling, I can occationally hear a strange sound coming from the engine. As my knowledge is limited, the best way i can describe the sound is that it sounds like the bike is gasping for air. It comes randomly, now and then, as the bike idles.

The airbox and filter is clean. As far as i know, this might be normal and nothing to worry about, but as i said i am new to engines and bikes so i figured i would at least throw the question out here.

    Thanks

Would be helpful if you could capture the sound on video and post on youtube or similar site. Very difficult to diagnose something like this without hearing it.

naturally the engine didnt make the sound as i tried to capture a recording on it. now the bike is somewhat dismanteled as im fitting a few things and fixing some broken plastic, but ill get back to this issue if it appears again.

Bike Owner: "The bike is making this strange sound."
Mechanic: "I didn't hear anything strange, that will be $80.00 for diagnostics!"
