    tell me that Australia or New Zealand or even maybe Canada (?) measures distances in miles too, not all Kilometers? Or did 25 years ago?What I'm fishing for is a 120MPH speedo (guts) for my '81/'83 Seca 550(s) we here in the USA were in the midst of the 85MPH speedometer debacle, there had to be REAL speedo guts made in that era I could use...I just need to know what corner of the world to poke about in...

    Our speedo's are geared up to the kilometer scale, but do have the miles per hour printed on the face in tiny print!

    UK is still M.P.H. Aus changed to Kms somtime in the 80s.

    UK is MPH??? AWEsome!!! All I gotta do is find a UK-spec speedo mechanism or two. Piece of cake (hold my beer, we can do this...) stay tuned.

    Did you see some of the aftermarket speedos in some of the chopper/mod threads? Some are very modern looking but some are chromish.

    It has to look stock. The cluster comes apart easily, all I need is a UK speedo mechanism from the same series and it will look like it came that way.

    Yep. I found that one, too. Emailed seller, she was not the least bit enthusiastic about international commerce. Then I found a couple here in the states, from 1979 and '80 models that go to 120. Got bids out on a couple right now...
