PM's sitting in Outbox for ages

    Why is it when I send a PM it often sits in my Outbox for up to an hour before being sent?

    Coz the receiver ain't picked it up yet. Pm them to tell them to read the first PM. Oh wait, that won't work...

    Messages get "sent" immediately (as soon as the screen clears) and go into your outbox. At the same time, an e-mail and forum notice is sent to the recipient telling them they have a new message.

    Not until they go to their Inbox and open your message does that message move from YOUR outbox to your sentbox.....that's how you can tell whether the recipient has viewed your message.
