Selling 1985 Maxim X

    I am selling my 1985 Maxim X. It has around 16000 Org. miles. I parked the bike in the garage 18mo ago when I was deployed to Iraq. Back now and just bought a HD. It just had a full carb rebuild done just before being stored and has about 1000 miles on dunlop tires, was a strong runner when I left. All the skins are Orig. and off on the shelf and the the tires are off the ground to prevent flat spots. Like I said the bike is solid and just needs the skins and spedo housing put back on and off it goes. Never layed down or crashed, no real damage except for 21 years of road use. Orig. paint and parts. I always wanted to restore it but after being back from Iraq I just bought a HD. This will make a good whole or even a parts bike for someone who already has a project and needs solid parts. If you have any queations just email me at milo.wurth@us.army.mil

    I will get some Pics up here today. The color is the metal flake deep blue, as for the price, I would like to get around $800-$1000 but that is negotiable.

    Hey sarge - why aren't you selling it for more? Seems to me that the X's go for around $2000! Sorry if I am bursting anyone's bubble who wanted it cheap.

    No the bike has not sold yet. I do apologize for not having the pics up yet. I was injured in Iraq back in Jan and was called back to Walter reed for some test results just a couple of days after posting it. I am still here and just got the email back up a running in my room. I'm not really selling it cheep I just want to get rid of it with out giving it away. Is a good strong running bike with good skins however I just lost interest in it.
