I was wondering if there will be any surprises when I change my sock exhaust for and Arrow 4-1 ? are there gaskets to replace ? Will the headers be a beyatch to get off? And at the moment the baffle is not in , will this cause problems with my engine?
    thanks for any input.
Oh and by the way , thanks to all of your help my bike is up and running , still have minor adjustments to make but WOW ! what a fun bike.... it being my first bike ... I love it!

You might be surprised at exactly how RUDELY loud an unbaffled 4-1 is on that bike. The stock system was extremely well engineered and you will have some tuning issues...personally, having spent a whole lot of time, effort and $$$ to restore my Seca to stock exhaust, I would say fix it don't pitch it. But that's me.

well right you are bigfits 52, personally the louder the better for me but surely my neighbors will have a shit fit . It is perhaps too loud. i'll fix the baffle and plug it in to keep the peace. Do the flanges at the header come off ? or will I have to order new ones? thanks

I've spent countless hours rejetting for the Jardine 4 into 1 on mine. Bought it with it on. Stock jetting. Was terribly lean.

Tried fatter main and pilots with no overall good result.

Found a .030" shim unde reach needle to fatten the 1/8 to mid throttle transition was the cure.
