    Seems like I'm looking for the "Holy Grail" of Seca parts......right sde cover '81 550 Seca. Prefer white but any color will do. Any help appreciated, thanks.

    If money is no object, the '83 RH cover is still available from Yamaha: pn 4G0-21721-00-6G COVER, SIDE 2 (RH) NEW YAMAHA BLACK. They get $92 for it, I know because I just bought one. It's black, with no decals or badges...or watch eBay. They do come along, I saw a set of red ones ('82) recently...

    Cool! There you go...for future reference all 3 years of Seca 550 are PHYSICALLY identical, bodywork wise, it's just the color schemes that differ: White w/Red stripes '81; Red w/silver stripes '82; and black w/maroon and scarlet stripes, '83. You can get decal kits for '81 and '82, no '83 yet...(stay tuned) Only '81 and '82 came with the fairing.
