Seca 750 - 1981. Right blinker fine, but left blinker I often times hit a couple of times or hold it in to get it to work. Why and what can I do to change this?

try cleaning the blinker switch.. if it doesnt help than check your relay switch under the gas tank you can pop the cover off of it and see how it looks. if it has rust in there is probably going to be your problem. go to an advance auto parts and pick a relay switch for 10 bucks and all you lose is the automatic shut off. there is a forum on blinkers and it will tell you the exact relay to get from there. worked great for me... good luck
