I have a 81 xj 650 that I have brought back to life,so to speak.the bike was showing 10k on the odometer, all the rubber was shot, intake boots etc.i rebuilt carbs, complete new exhaust system.the bike is really taking shape, the feeling of rehabing one of these classics and then going down the road is AWSOME....so far so good.i have been riding about 40 miles round trip to work when weather permits.howeveer i believe i have a little cam chain noise, not sure how to adjust it.is it automatic? or manual, any help on this would be great..i love this site and people like rick are invaluable. :D i will post some pics of my bike soon. thanks-jason

If it is a manual unit it will have a bolt & locknut on the side, if auto' might need taking out and cleaning, if the bike has sat for a long time.
