    i’M leaning towards a carb issue then. My 550 would do the same. Cleaned the carbs. Would be a hard start or start of starter fluid no problem....

    I agree. I’d rather do it myself than take someone’s word it was done. You need to go through it. I’m just not familiar with the shaft drives.

    Check your petcock. Maybe a vacuum leak there. I had similar issue on my 550.
