    I know the 650 seca I had hates pod filters but how about the Maxim? Trying to find OEM airbox to keep it stock but if pods work I just might use...

    MY 82 550 SLAMS TO HIGH IDLE WHEN I START IT UP??

    Try checking where the throttle cable connects to the accelerator, that was loose on mine and it would open the throttle. Tighten the lockdown...

    OK took the Seca to a shop and they said the control shaft felt was causing vacuum leak around shaft causing the wild high idle & sluggish...
