I finally got the bike running tonight and at first I was amazed at how great it sounded. It even sat there and idled around 900rpm. After running it for about 15 minutes I noticed one of the lines for the oil cooler was leaking so I bent down to check it out and thought I was going to end up with a severe burn when my arm touched the exhaust. To my surprise though the pipes on #1 and #2 where cold. I checked for spark again, it has great spark and the plug wasn't dry. It was wet with gas. Any ideas on why they wont fire?

I know that the carbs could use a good cleaning but if the cylinders are getting gas and spark, shouldn't they fire? If it runs this decent on only two cylinders, I can't wait to hear all four of them fire up. I am going to run a compression check on it this weekend when I get time. I really hope I don't have any broken rings. Would it be possible for the valves to be sticking since it has sat for so long?

I would bet the carbs are flooding the cylinders and that is why they aren't firing. Valves can leak or not seal but they can't stick with this overhead cam design unless they are bent or broken.
