Looks like he's working with a 550 Maxim so no shaft drive, just need a longer chain. Sick stretch tho!

If you're gonna stretch it like that, then rake the snot out of it, too. A set of nice 8" over tubes oughta do it..............

Understood.....but as much as I only do resto stuff-- I do like the look of a good chopper with the front way out. Kind of like PETER Fonda's bike in Easy Rider (hope I didn't raise any hackles by bringing up that flick). But, at least I'm not gonna stretch, rake, and then try and stick a harley engine into an XJ frame. Well............at least not yet----------------------

Hey, don't know if I ever mentioned it.........I DO know what an xj700 airhead would look like when it is stretched, raked, and slammed.

I have a pic on my cell--it's really cool, though hard to see.

Back during the summer I stopped at a pizza joint, and when I got back out to the bike, there was a nice new shiny Silverado extended cab pickup truck next to me. The reflection of my bike in the paint on the side of the cab was really cool. The cab doors were acting like those goofy mirrors in a carnival 'fun house' and gave a whole different perspective to the bike......long, low, lean, and mean.

Someday I may just follow through on that pic...............

You KNOW!?!?!?! I looked at that for the longest thime and was thinking--"That just doesn't look right", but I couldn't see what was wrong. . DOH!!!
I went back and edited it so that it now has the correct "PETER" there.

Bad dog.....bad. BA_A_A_AD. Write in the board 10 times correctly now:
Peter Fonda Peter Fonda Peter Fonda Peter Fonda
Peter Fonda Peter Fonda Peter Fonda.......................

    Now GO in your box!

    Tail tucked in in shame,
    Dave Fox
