Everytime I go through the garage my XJ550 looks cold under its storage cover. Green battery tender light makes useful night light in the garage, but I can't wait until spring to hit the road again...

We r expecting a low of -6 by midweek!
Veronika is shivering out there in our garage. But the car is outside in the driveway, taking one for the team :)

Move to Georgia and ride all year. Had a nice ride today in a light jacket.

Especially on the coast where I am. But it's only a problem in late July, through mid Sept.

We've been blessed with 6 or 8 inches of the fluffy humidity in the last 24 hours. If i weren't suffering from*ahem* the flu, I'd get all the fun of digging out of it. Damn shame it looks like a pyjama day with pre recorded packers game.

I get to move the fluffy stuff with our ATV, it may be more fun then work.

-1 F this morning. No wind - not bad.
Wind is supposed to kick up this afternoon -. It doesn't matter how many layers you have on, the wind will find away in and then it IS cold.

I hear ya, tabaka. I have lived in the more tropical climates, and love a good lounge on the beach midwinter, but as i am with k-moe on the zero tolerance for wet air.

A little secret about CO is we have monthly "indian summers" all winter :)

An east wind would rather blow though you then around you.

It was soooo cold last night . . . . (how cold was it?)
It was so cold last night, that after dinner I went out to re-fill the wood tote for our wood stove; happened to take a can of beer with me (32oz Central Waters Glacial Trail IPA). The can was mostly empty. Set can on porch deck railing, went and filled up the wood, came back set the wood tote down and went for a sip of beer. (Hey! I did work so I deserve a sip right?) Brought the can to my lips and for a brief moment I felt my lips 'stick' to the aluminum. Panicked briefly, fortunately the aluminum gave way to my body heat and released soon enough.

Couple that with the weather man actually saying "It's going to be stupid cold on Sunday", guess I will be wearing long johns for a few days and most likely only bringing bourbon outside.

Makes me think it was warm just east of you, Dave. Only -1 on the way to work.
