140 90 16 rear tire

    and can you put the 16" rear wheel on the front ?

    On 2 wheels... just lost my hat.
    140 is the width... the factory tire spec is 190-90/16
    the 140 is much narrower than the stock tire

    and you can put a 16-in up front. just not the rear.

    check maxim-x.com, they have an article on it

    130 90 16 is stock on my bike anything wider might rub on the drive shaft housing. just wondering if anybody has put a 140 tire on before and with any issues..?

    Anything wider WILL rub. I've seen it, and I've gone from the P.O.'s 140 to a 130. It's a 10 mm wider tire the 140 is.

    i thought that it might. hoping i could put a little bit wider tire on just for looks..oh well
