Long story short, I'm an idiot that knows just enough about electronics to be dangerous.

I replaced the ratty(but working) battery terminals with 14 gauge wire thinking it would be fine and then threw away the original terminals. Turns out it isn't. *face palm*

What gauge wire should I use for this system? It's running a 6v battery.

    Thanks,
    rubiks

How many watts do all of the systems on that bike need? Determine your amperage needs and the rest is easy. A 10 AWG wire will handle 15 amps, an 8 AWG wire will handle 24 amps. Use AWG Wire Amps for a search on google and there are a ton of charts out there to guide you.
    Good luck!
