    Hey -

I bought a 1979 Kawasaki KE 125 endure couple months back and finally got some time to mess with it. Unfortunately, I'm am a total amateur with 2 stroke engines.

I notice the bike does not have a separate oil tank even though the bike is supposedly oil injected. Does that mean that I should be premixing my my gas w/ oil, or is the oil in the engine case is all it needs? If premix is needed, what type of oil is best and what is the ratio for the mix?

someone probably took the oil tank off to save 2oz of weight
    yes you need premix
any good motorcycle 2 stroke oil will work, no chainsaw, weed wacker, outboard oil.
ratio is going to be 32:1 to 50:1, 40:1 is a nice round number.
oil in the engine case it for the clutch and trans., it should stay there.

Get yourself a manual and run it rich until you know the condition of the engine and what's it's already been through. You can get manuals online for free so no excuses for not having it. If it's really missing the tank, you will be able to find one on fleabay for cheap.
