    I would like to go with longer forks on the cheap does anyone know of longer fork tubes from a different bike that will work

    Most stock tubes are around the same length.If you are going any longer than stock tubes you will be better off buying a set. I got mine from Forks by Frank, cost me around 200$ a couple of years ago. You can get any length you need. Don't know if tubes from another model will fit yours.
