Ok so my father-in-law bought me a 1981 550 Maxim as a Christmas present. Of course there is some work that needs to be done with it which we have started, but I want to do some things to it and am having no luck researching it. Hoping some more experienced people on this site could help me out. I want to get a sleeker rear fender, a smaller tail light, and a less cumbersome seat. Are there any parts anyone knows of, that fit for this bike without going into welding, or complete rearranging the bike? Looking forward to any and all help.

nothing you can do for replacing the seat except carving the foam and making a new seat cover
after market fenders you will have to fab one your self
are the only problems you have cosmetic?
