1981 xj550 maxim mystery seal/cap

    Hello all, I recently bought a 1981 xj550 maxim and decided to chase an oil leak. Found a round black seal/cap under the YICS cover on the right side of the motor, which appears to be a non bearing seal for the crank shaft. I can’t for the life of me figure out what it’s called to order a replacement. While I’m at it if anyone knows an easy way to replace it, seeing as it appears the previous owner boogered it up trying I would appreciate that too.
