    Will the 81 xj750 maxim carbs fit on a 81 xj750 seca engine?
    Will the 81 xj750 maxim starter solenoid fit on a 81 xj750 seca?

    What are the major differences between them? is the frame the same?

    correction - Its a 1981 xj 650 maxim. Will the carbs fit/ work on a 81 xj 750 seca.

    The carbs from the maxim have a dynojet stage 3 jet kit installed.

    The carb bodies should interchange no problem, as well as the mounting and linkage. I have done this on a number of occasions. Thing to note is that the Pilot and Main jets are different sizes on each model so the correct jets will need to be swapped over. Also check the needle sizes, although I have swapped needles and diaphragms in the past with no appreciable difference (might need to investigate this further).
