1982 Seca 750 for Sale.

    Good running 1982 Yamaha 750 with TITLE !!!!

    The good:
    brakes are in working order
    Carburetor in good working order
    Tires have plenty of tread and no dry rot
    Headlight and taillight
    Front forks are clean and no leaks
    Engine has good and EVEN compression on all 4 cylinders and does not leak oil.
    Transmission shifts fine thru all gears.
    Rear shocks do not leak
    Final drive is good.
    Tachometer and gauge lighting are working
    Front and rear brake lights are working

    The bad:
    Horn button on handlebar is missing ( I will include the actual horn that is mounted under the tank)
    Speedometer works but is sluggish ( speed up to to 25mph and then stop, the meter still shows 25. Then after a few minutes it will go back to zero)
    Seat will need new cover, the one in the picture is off my other Seca. The seat pan or base and the foam are good however.
    Right side exhaust megaphone is rusted/dented and needs to be replaced. It is solidly mounted but very very ugly

    The Maybe:

    Blinkers...all four are mounted and are in clean working order and light up, but at the minute not flashing. This might be a flasher relay problem I will be working on it.
    The battery holds a charge but might need to be replaced.
    All that said it is a good bike that just needs a little more TLC. The actual mileage is UNKNOWN the speedometer shows 289 miles, but this is not he original gauge.

    I've never been able to upload pictures on this site for some reason.
    If you would like pictures I can email them directly, leave your email address.
    Otherwise I have pictures posted on Craigslist-> Chicago.
    The reason it says "seat in picture" is because I copyed the text from the Craigslist ad.
    If anyone has an interest on this site and wants pictures, please pm me on instructions for uploading. I've tried the "image" button on top and the "attachment -> browse button on the bottom, neither work.....
