Project bike for sale! Frisco, TX
    $900, willing to negotiate.

Pics at Yamaha XJ Owners on Facebook, a public group.

    1982 Yamaha Maxim XJ1100J, about 20k miles.

I have clear Texas title in my name, and original Bill of Sale from when I bought it from Re-Cycled Sales in Dallas.

I hadn't put many miles on it myself, it didn't leave Frisco and has been garage kept while I've had it. It has Amzoil in it now.

It hasn't run since October. It's not currently running, I'm guessing that it needs the carbs jetted.

Included is a new, unused large helmet, gloves, new Fuse box assembly, new carb boots, new throttle cable, a trickle charger and extra battery. None of the items are attached/mounted. Original small luggage rack/back rest included, though would need re-upholstering.

Tires pretty good yet. I've painted some of the frame in flat black, and heat wrapped the lead pipes.

I don't have time, tools, nor the help to finish it, and it's taking up space.

Cash only, will accept PayPal with local pick up/special arrangements. Obviously, I can't ship it to you. You'd have to have it trailered it out.

Obviously, no warranty, as is. Unaware of any unknown issues. All sales final. No returns.

As some people do not use facebook.
It would help if you posted pictures here.

Any maintenance history that you can give?
What condition where the head pipes before the wrap was installed?

The bike was ridden alot I suppose by previous owners. It's spent time outside. The pipes didn't have any holes in them, just some normal oxidation I'd cleaned myself. I wrapped them all the way up more for a visual effects, as my original plan was to do a cafe racer/bobber or something. They are fine, didn't have any issues with them. There's no holes filled in, welded, or stuffed with aluminum or a tin can (people do sheisty things).
